That's right folks, this is our third attempt at a blog. Third times a charm, right? I am excited about this blog, and hope that you will enjoy walking along side of us as we begin this blog and our new life in Cary.
For those of you who don't know, after spending five (long, but good) years in Gastonia, NC we have relocated back to Cary. We wanted Oak to grow up near his family (although, right now we might be a little too close. We are living at my parents until March when we close on our house) and be able to know grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins.
The picture below is of our last day at our old house. It was quite bittersweet for me, but Brian felt nothing but sweet. Definitely a moneypit, but our first house nonetheless, where Oak had many "firsts". However, we will not miss the stray cats, barking dogs, gun shots and police cars all hours of the night!
I am excited for those of you who don't know Oak or get to be around him often to hear of his extreme cuteness on this blog. Pictures will be coming soon! Hope you enjoy hearing about our lives and we can't wait to hear from you as well!
